NEW Framework Alignment

The skills economy is demanding greater meaning from digital credentials - how much weight does one digital badge for 'Teamwork' carry, compared to a different digital badge for 'Teamwork'? How can employers know which one took an hour to complete, and which was developed throughout a 2-year course? To overcome this, evidence needs to align to frameworks that already hold meaning to employers.

Credentialate's Framework Alignment enable skills and competencies to be aligned to frameworks, and for that alignment to be included in Credentialate's personalised evidence record.

Credentialate Framework Alignment - Skills-First Evidence Alignment

Here’s an example of what this will look like:

  1. Create or import framework data into the Framework Library - e.g. OECD Competency Framework, NACE Career Readiness Competencies, etc.
  2. Select a competency from your Skills and Competency Library
  3. Align relevant framework levels to the competency
  4. Framework alignment is included in the personalised evidence record
  5. Track achievements against frameworks across the institution

Why evidence of skills and alignment is so important

  • Mastery approach - by aligning the curriculum to skills and competencies, learners can fill the gaps in their learning and build towards mastery of a particular skill or competency
  • Get actionable insights - the institution can identify gaps and be agile in adapting to meet market needs
  • Career-aligned evidence record - with personalised evidence, learners can speak confidently to their skills and competencies and easily share proof of same
  • Surfaces durable (transferable) and domain specific skills - institutions can identify both from within their curriculum
  • Speed to market - get a micro-credential program up and running quicker, using existing course content and learner data already captured by the institution
  • Strengthen recruitment strategy - as industry needs are the first consideration, graduates are job-ready as soon as they graduate, creating more competitive course offerings
  • Platform flexibility - at every stage, Credentialate gives you the option to configure to your unique requirements to get the outcomes you want
